Voyager Tech
From Obsidian Fleet Database
The simple answer to this question is "No". By Voyager Tech, we mean any of the following:
- Quantum Slipstream Drives
- Transphasic Torpedoes
- That shuttle with the temporal deflector
- The beam on/beam off ablative armour (note, regular ablative armour is very much in use in Obsidian Fleet; here, we are referring to the enhanced armour from Endgame)
- The Doctor's mobile emitter
- Much, much more
Why don't you use it? Surely it's canon?
The unfortunate thing about Voyager's super technology is the way they acquired it. After it was shown, there were huge debates about it's validity, since it actually broke the Temporal Prime Directive. Not only that, but we did not see what happened to Voyager once it got home - it may have been impounded pending further investigation, or the technology might have been destroyed. We just don't know enough about it. As such, Obsidian Fleet's Staff decided not to use it in Obsidian Fleet.
Since none of the tech appeared in Star Trek: Nemesis, the Fleet Staff has decided that the "Voyager Tech" will not feature in Obsidian Fleet. Of course, should there be a new series of Star Trek produced that is in the "current" TNG/DS9/VOY timeline that features this technology, we will review this decision. Essentially, if in doubt about VoyTech, just inquire with R&D
