[edit] Personal History and Origin
Comes from a strong family line of Romulan Star Empire & Tal Shiar Operatives. Was trained and prepared for service from an early age by his Father, who was a high ranking officer with in the Star Empire and decorated heavily. T'Sal, however, was naturally curious and would often ask of subjects other then what his Father was teaching and preparing him (Combat, Politics and Physical Training) because of this T'Sal often endured many beatings. Yet, each beating reinforced his desire to know more, to understand what was outside the 'Glass Bubble' that his Father had enveloped him. It was at an early age that T'Sal grew adapt at hacking into Computer Terminals, often in the local archives, to learn more about the outside world. He learned of a great vast galaxy full of riches, full of different species - ones that didn't harness and harbor the idea of warfare and espionage. The more he read, the more T'Sal learned about how evil and deceitful the Romulan Star Empire had been over its existence, and of the war crimes his Father had committed. This wasn't the life he was after. Desperate to leave Romulus to pursue his own life, T'Sal stowed away a cargo ship leaving Romulus. For years he passed himself off as a Vulcan, not even acknowledging his own Romulan existence, in hope that his Father wouldn't come looking for him and kill him as an example of what betrayal gets you in the Empire. T'Sal improved his computer skills over the time, helping out as he could as he traveled the Galaxy, unsure of what he was travel in search of. Eventually, T'Sal found himself on the Doorstep of the United Federation of Planets. This was the perfect chance to help establish the ideals that not all Romulans were the enemy or evil, T'Sal enlisted as a crewman and completed his training, excelling in Computer Science. His first was to Obsidian Command, a move that surprised T'Sal, and later the staff of OC once knowledge of his Romulan Heritage was spread. Despite doing a great job in increasing the CPU performance by 7% in his tenure at the Station, life became difficult for him as more and more people learned that he was in fact a Romulan and not a Vulcan. T'Sal handed in his notice and left to become a wanderer again.
