Welcome to Obsidian Fleet's base of operations for Task Force 47, Starbase 47!
Though the conflict of the Dominion War has ended, it has left the great powers of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants in
ruins economically, militarily, and socially. These lasting effects have enveloped the Breen Confederation, the
Cardassion Union, the Dominion Empire, the Klingon Empire, the Romulan Star Empire, and United Federation of
Planets into political turmoil. Even now, 2386, negotiations are still ongoing.
Though the Romulan Star Empire stood victorious alongside the Klingon Empire and the United Federation of Planets
in the aftermath of the Dominion War, what was once a proud imperial force is beginning to crumble under the
pressure of political shakeups, and a weakened military. On the outskirts of Romulan space, the once safe lands
have opened to the criminals of the galaxy who are exploiting the deterioration of the empire’s economic, military,
and political security. While the Romulan Star Empire has denied offer after offer from the Federation to assist in
restoration efforts, it is the responsibility of Starbase 47, located just outside the Neutral Zone of these two
galactic powers, to ensure that the Federation is secure from these rogue elements.
It is onboard Starbase 47 that the crew is subject to virtually limitless possibilities, bound only by their own
imagination. Whether a new recruit, or a seasoned individual, serving aboard Starbase 47 will be one of the most
memorable, most exciting, most perilous, most rewarding, and most enjoyable periods in a character's life. Join the

Lieutenant Commander Elijah Bell. The Command Staff is dedicated to making SB47 a superior simulation and providing the best

Midway through the command-transfer ceremony for Lieutenant Commander James Wilson, Starbase 47 receives a distress
signal from a nearby freighter requesting immediate assistance from any available source. While SB47 is the nearest
installation capable of deploying assistance, there are two distinct problems... Not only is the distressed
freighter of Romulan origin and currently drifting into the Federation/Romulan Neutral Zone, but the nature of the
Thelok’s emergency is unknown, and all responding hails have gone unanswered.
