From Obsidian Fleet Database
The Starfleet Science Corps is the department that most directly reflects and acts upon the United Federation of Planets' mandate to explore strange new worlds and seek out new lifeforms and civilizations. Science personnel stationed aboard starships and other facilities wear uniforms highlighted with a shade of jungle green, although it is typically referred to as teal, like those from the Starfleet Medical Corps. The Starfleet Science Corps is a member of the Interspecies Scientific Exchange and oversees the operations of the Archaeological Research Division, Oceanic Research Division and the Deep Space Subspace Radar Network. The Department of Temporal Investigations regularly works with the Science Corps on matters pertaining to time travel and the maintenance of the established timeline.
The current Science Advisor to the Obsidian Fleet Corps is Alexander Dimitrov and all inquires regarding the department should be addressed to him.
