Independent Fleet Operations

Independent Fleet Operations (IFO) isn't a Task Force in the traditional sense, Obsidian Fleet relevant use of the word. IFO is a group of independent sims within Obsidian Fleet that serve a unique purpose, or cannot be placed anywhere else in the fleet due to Chain of Command issues (for example, a sim commanded by a member of the Triad).
