Fleet Corps

The mandate of the Fleet Corps is to develop and promote fulfilling roles for players within the Obsidian Fleet.
The primary duty of the Fleet Corps is to provide resources for all departments to the players of the Obsidian Fleet. A huge tool in this effort is the Obsidian Fleet wiki database. Within this very database, we can add and organize In Character information, but it also allows for the easy submission of information by the players themselves. Another tool for player information is the Corps Website, which is currently in construction to provide players with easily accessible, straight forward information about the various departments which are played within our Ships, Starbases, and so forth. The end result will be that the Corps website shall contain Out Of Character information and guides for each department.
Another way the Corps is trying to achieve its mandate is that we have taken upon the task of the promotion and development of more Specialty/Unique Sims within the Fleet. Unique sims is a brave new world encouraged by all staff and members of Obsidian Fleet and Fleet Corps, ranging from Engineering Bases, Scientific Underwater Research Facilities, to Civilian Cargo Ships or a Marine Based Sim. Possibilities are endless, and are simply waiting for the right minds and wills to come along and shape them into realities.
Departmental Corps
The Fleet Corps is split up into several Corps. Each Corps is led by a Corps Advisor who has certain responsibilities. These responsibilities include:
- Being an active member of the Fleet Corps.
- Maintaining and developing their respective Corps area on the Obsidian Fleet Wiki Database.
- Assisting players in the writing of their characters.
Corps Advisors are an OOC position and are not played IC. Fleet Corps advisors are governed by the Fleet Corps Advisors Rules of Conduct
